For venues and live performances, Compeller works with minimal hardware requirements:

Any modern laptop or desktop computer (Windows 10+, macOS 10.14+, or Linux)
Standard HDMI output to your display screens or projectors
Optional internet connection (wired recommended for live performances)

Lighting Control

DMX interface (USB-to-DMX adapter, $50-100) for professional lighting
Or smart lighting systems (Philips Hue, LIFX, Nanoleaf) for smaller venues
Optional: MIDI controller for hands-on control of lighting scenes

Video Output

HDMI splitter for multiple screens (approximately $30)
NDI support for network-based video distribution
Optional: Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini ($295) for professional video switching
