(Father Ocean (Ben Böhmer Remix Edit)), "Concept: A solitary figure journeys across a dissolving threshold where desert meets sea â but the ocean watches back, and surrender is the only passage.
A world in decay. Cracked earth, saline rot, wooden structures surrendering to tide. The tone shifts from parched isolation to aqueous immersion, from amber desolation to cerulean obsession. The figure moves toward water that moves toward them. Reality softens, pixelates, becomes signal. By the final act, observer and observed are indistinguishable â a face in the water, a body in the deep, a name dissolving into current.
SCENE 1: The Salt Walk
- Location: Cracked desert basin, bleached wooden walkway stretching toward a thin band of distant ocean
- Action: A lone figure walks the warped planks toward the waterline. Locked wide shot holds the impossible geometry â dry ruin meeting flat horizon. The figure is small, deliberate, unhalting.
- Visual key: Desolate longing. The walkway is both path and severance.
SCENE 2: The Shallows Breathe
- Location: Walkway's terminus where planks submerge into milky turquoise shallows
- Action: Medium tracking shot moves alongside the figure as they step off the edge into ankle-deep water. The surface ripples outward in slow concentric rings. Beneath the water, faint blue light pulses like a heartbeat beneath skin.
- Visual key: Threshold sensation. The land rejects, the water receives.
SCENE 3: The Watching Face
- Location: Submerged corridor â wooden posts and railings visible beneath translucent blue, architectural ghost of the walkway drowned
- Action: Extreme close-up on the figure's face, eyes wide open, looking down into water. Camera handheld, intimate, unstable. In the water below, an enormous eye opens â blue, luminous, unblinking. Text overlays flicker: partial words, coordinates, signal fragments.
- Visual key: Recognition. The ocean is not empty. It was never empty.
SCENE 4: The Body Dissolves
- Location: Deepening water, architecture fragmenting â planks drift apart, desert floor visible below cracking and filling with dark current
- Action: Overhead drone shot looking straight down. The figure floats spread-eagle. Their form begins to lose edge â limbs blurring into blue, skin becoming translucent, the boundary between body and water dissolving in spreading ink-clouds of cerulean and pale green.
- Visual key: Surrender as transformation. The body is a word the ocean is reading.
SCENE 5: Signal Sea
- Location: Abstract blue void â no horizon, no floor, only depth and the pale geometry of drowning architecture
- Action: POV shot â the camera is now the figure's dissolving perspective. A vast face materializes from the blue: immense eyes, water-slick skin, glacial calm. The face speaks in bubbles that become text overlays that become light. Surveillance flicker. The face is the figure. The figure is the face.
- Visual key: Total merger. Identity was always borrowed from the deep."
