**Concept:** A woman walks backward through her own memories, unable to stop returning to the moment she lost herself in someone else.
The visual world lives in the liminal space between waking and dreaming â amber light bleeding through water, rooms that breathe and contract like lungs, gravity that shifts without warning. Every frame should feel like the moment just before you fall asleep: familiar yet impossible, warm yet unsettling. The emotional arc moves from seduction to surrender to the terrifying clarity of waking up and realizing you chose the trance. Color palette shifts from deep honeyed gold to bruised violet to stark, cold white.
A single overhead light swings slowly in an otherwise pitch-black room, casting a metronome arc of golden light across a woman's face. She stands perfectly still, eyes closed, lips barely parted. Each swing of the light reveals more of the room â peeling wallpaper, a chair overturned, a glass of water vibrating on a table. Camera drifts in an impossibly slow orbit around her, never quite completing the circle. The light swings wider. Her fingers begin to twitch.
**Visual key:** The audience should feel the pull â something magnetic and not entirely safe â like standing at the edge of a rooftop at night.
The woman opens her eyes and she is somewhere else entirely: a ballroom with no walls, just endless mirrors reflecting a version of her dancing with a figure whose face we never see. The figure's hands guide her â her waist, her jaw, the small of her back â and with every touch, the mirrors multiply. Camera moves in smooth, sweeping Steadicam circles that mimic the waltz, pulling wide to reveal hundreds of reflections, then punching in tight on her eyes â dilated, glassy, willing. The mirrors begin to fog from the inside, as if breathing.
**Visual key:** Intoxication disguised as elegance. The audience should feel seduced and slightly nauseous at the same time.
She's now in a narrow hallway that seems to stretch and compress with each beat. The walls are covered in photographs of her own face â laughing, crying, sleeping â none of which she remembers being taken. She walks forward but the hallway stretches longer. She walks faster. The photographs start to animate â the versions of her in the frames turn to watch her pass. Camera pushes in from behind her in an accelerating dolly shot, the walls tightening, the ceiling lowering, until she reaches a door pulsing with warm amber light from underneath. She reaches for the handle. Her hand is shaking.
**Visual key:** Claustrophobia of obsession â the feeling of being watched by your own worst decisions."
